It was compose by Nathaniel Hawthorne, he was fourty-six days old when he wrote the story, and was penning for twenty-four years . It was published in 1850 by Ticknor, vibrating vibrating reed & Fields in Boston. Summarized, it is a story somewhat the trials and tribulations of Hester Prynne. She moves to Boston, sled her married man behind. Two years after not beholding her husband, she has an affair with reverend Dimmesdale. This leads to her becoming pregnant and being visit by the town. She is forced to wear an A on her chest of drawers for the rest of her life. While being punished upon the town scaffold, she sees her husband in the crowd. He swears to find the father of Hesters child and seeks his punish upon the unknowing reverend. He does so under the name of Roger Chillingworth to vacant being recognized. Over a seven year course, you seize the hardships Hester must end ure and Chillingworths torture causes Dimmesdale to admit his wrongdoing. When first reading The Scarlet Letter,it seems to focus on the adultery committed amongst the cardinal individuals and the aftermath that follows. After actually reading the story,an analytical lecturer can learn very much about the Puritans ship canal and society.
