I. SOURCES OF LAW
MEANING OF SOURCES
The word sources has several meanings which may admit the adjacent:-
i. Historical sources These ar factors that have influenced the development of the jurisprudencefulness although they are not recognized as fair play. These factors may accept religious beliefs, local customs and opinion of jurists.
ii. Legal sources These are the legal rules that make up the law.
iii. Places where the law finish be found i.e.: Statues, law reports and text books.
The term Sources of Malaysian police force means the legal sources, i.e. the legal rules that make up the law in Malaysia.
Malaysian law can be classified ad into: written law, unwritten law and Muslim law.

II. THE COURTS remains AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE IN MALAYSIA
SOURCES: A. WRITTEN LAW
The most consequential source of law. It refers to that portion of Malaysian law which includes the following:
i. The national and State institutions. The Federal Constitution is the supreme law of land. on that point are also Constitutions of the thirteen(13) States comprising the Federation, which form part of written law in Malaysia
ii. Legislation enacted by Parliament and the State Assemblies, (e.g. Acts of Parliament, Ordinances, Enactments, etc.)
iii.

As mentioned earlier, written law in Malaysia may be found in the following:
i. The Federal Constitution

iv. Subsidiary Legislation
THE FEDERAL CONSTITUTION
i. Federal Constitution enshrines the basic or fundamental rights of the individual.
